November 04 Must See Baby FurnitureI have always loved decorating a nursery so, when my closet friend asked for my help when she found at she was expecting I was more than happy to help! When I came across this baby furniture that was just her style I had to share! The Sweet Beginnings line of baby furniture is precious. Each piece is a unique hand painted piece of art! Nothing but the best for my friend and my future god child! Now all we need is her to decide what she wants to include. This line has everything from painted wall decor, cribs, changing tables, toy chests and more! I have a feeling this will be a long project but totally worth the outcome! October 03 A New Jacket for the Girls!Well we all know its time to get those kids clothes and, coats out for the cold weather! If you have kids like me, last years coat no longer fits! So, I am on a mission today to find some coats for the girls. I wanted something a little different for them so, of course I searched everywhere at the mall. Nothing really caught my eye. So, I came home and searched online. I really like this pink double breasted wool coat that would be perfect! I just have to make sure that the girls like it so, I will get their opinion when they get home from school. I'm sure they will love it, what little girl doesn't love pink? I wouldn't mind wearing one of these myself! Well, maybe if I were eight I would! September 13 Read a Good Book!I just finished a really good book. I now I have the time to get a little reading each day now that the girls are back in school! After they are off, I sit down with my cup of coffee and, pull out my favorite heart bookmark, and, enjoy a few good chapters. Where has the joy of reading gone anyway? I use to read book after book and, now I have to set time aside just to read a chapter. I really need to get in the habit of instilling this in my children. Soon, what will happen to books? They will all be online when technology takes over! It's rather sad to think this was the only form of entertainment! September 07 Designer Baby Clothes Unique FindsI love finding new styles of designer baby clothes for my kids. Have you heard of the line of Bon Bon clothing? This line is just adorable. I picked up this sweet little vintage, hippie top with such a cute print for my little one at Estella-nyc.com. This place has such elegant little clothes that are truly European. I am in heaven when I come across such unique finds. My friend's are always asking me where I find unique clothing. Online I say, you can still get those hard to find designer pieces without having to visit New York! September 03 Staying BusyWell, it's been quite the busy summer. I am sad to see that it's over but, now it's time to hunker down for shorter, days and, colder nights. It's a shame because the sun always brightens my mood! The girls started back to school today so I stayed pretty busy with odds and ends. Some housework, some scrapbooking and, putting together some really cute baby shower favors for my friend's shower this weekend. I have a few of these to attend over the next few months that will break up the boring old routine. I want to get a few projects done since the weather won't be nice during the winter. It rains so much here, it's pretty depressing. You can probably guess where I live. Yes, the drippy outskirts of Seattle Washington. When the girls finish school we are definately looking into moving somewhere that will have sunshine! Well, until then I busy myself with friends, family and, hobbies! I think I may even be blogging a little more too!
